How much space should I have between rows of tables at my wedding reception?
I'm working on a seating chart for my wedding reception, and am thinking that if I put 4 feet between rows, that should be ok. Just looking for some confirmation. The tables are 3 ft wide. Is 4 feet enough for people to sit at the tables and a walkway? (Assuming that the people at the table are of average size.) Thanks!

- No, you need 5 feet. Of course if there's only 4 feet, you can get more tables and more people, and more gifts.
- It should really be 5 feet.....however if your space is limited then 4 feet is ok.
- I would say you need around 2 feet for the chair and 3 feet for the walkway. So from table to table you need around 7 feet. That was the distance I used in my wedding. I wish you the best!!
- I don't think that is enough space. Once someone is sitting down the chairs are going to be about 2 feet from the table, that leaves no walk way. The walk way should be a minimum of 3 feet...thats 7 feet.
