Any ideas on how to start a business? Any ideas on any subject on what kind of business I can start?

I am working my 1st job, I am 19 yrs old, I am in school for medical assisting, any websites that can help me make money? Give me your ideas and opinions.

I wouldnt know since im still studying..but the logical thing to do is gain experience on your first job first, learn the ins and outs of the company you are working for and see the pros and cons... then think what your current location lacks jumping into a business with out any experience yet is a big risk in my opinion it may boom or it may be a bust I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors :D
  2. Before starting a business, do some research. And as far as subject on what kind, make sure it's something You really like, this may take some serious thought.
  3. Many students like the flexibility involved with internet marketing. Affiliate marketing is a great way to start out. The money can be excellent, but there is a learning curve. The best way to be successful is to find out where people are going to get all the tools, software and support they need to be successful.   5. The best type of business I think from personal experience is starting a home based business. The cost to start one has less investment cost and they're are quicker to build your income level than a traditional business. Most home based business cost under $500, a few cost more. Depending on what it is that your going to get involved in. This is way less than a traditional business where the cost can be way up into a hundred thousand and in some cases a million dollars to start up. With traditional business's you have a lot of over head, in home based business's there isn't much, most of the over head is things you pay for and have to pay for in your house regardless if you have a business or not. All these things in your house (example utilities) are tax right offs as well. The headaches aren't there like in traditional business. Most traditional business takes over 5 years to gain a profit because of the overhead and start up expenses. Home based business only take a couple of months to make a profit, and I've seen some business's start making a profit within their first week of business. From what I've learned and experienced in home based business, they're easier to maintain and the income opportunity is the same opportunity in any traditional business. Not knowing where all your interests are or your hobbies or anything, it's difficult to to point you out in the right direction. Or refer you over to web sites that would match your interest or business's that you would enjoy getting involved in. I can only tell you what my husband and I do and point you out to a couple different home based business's to take a look at and see which one would be best for you. Over six years ago, my husband and I started our home based business in the telecommunication's industry. It well supports our entire family. We have 4 children ages 10, 6, 3 and 1. Another advantage of having a home based business is we have the time for our children. Each have their own activities they do, after school sports and both my husband and I are able to participate in them. I coach the girls cheer squad and my husband coaches the boys football and based ball stuff. (something I can't do obviously..LOL) If I owned my own traditional business, it would be difficult to take off when I wanted, especially if my empolyees called in sick or something or was understaffed. (something I experienced in owning my own traditional business. I don't know if you have any children or not, but if you don't and thinking about starting a family of your own, starting a home based business would be the perfect thing for a family. Anyhow we got involved in a 15 year old world wide company that had been featured in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 rated us the 22nd fastest growing company. We offer services that people use every day and pay for anyway. Services such as local and long distance telephone services, Internet, digital, video phones, Satallite T.V., and all the major cellular phone companies like Verizon, AT&T, T-mobile, Sprint, Alltel, Nextell, Disney, etc have partnered up with us to. How many people do you know, or know of, that have one or more of these services? How would it make you feel to be able to save people money on services that they are already using and paying for every day anyway, and everytime they pay their bills, every single month, month after month, year after year, you get paid a percentage? Think about the income opportunity in this industry. It's just incredible! There is so much money involved in this industry it would make you sick.
