Why do NBA coaches congregate on the court after taking a timeout?

I noticed that right after a timeout is called the head coach and assitant coaches always walk onto the court for a few seconds while the players make their way to the bench. Why?

1. When players go on and off the court, the coaches all have assignments to ensure that it is done right. they do it from the floor.
2. space and to get away from the bench's chatter
3. To make sure the opposing team doesn't have a spy in the crowd listening to there strategy.
