Coaches???
All of you vball coaches, do you only choose club players to be on your team, or do you give others a shot too?

- Well if you give chances it will encourage your team player that they know they do not know how to play but then when they see that they have been given a chance they will be more energetic and openminded of the situation.
- I wouldn't only play girls or guys that played on club teams. It's and added bonus because they're sharp and have worked on alot of their problems as players, but some people can take the off season and go on vacations and hang out with friends and come back and be just as good as the players who played in club. I give everyone an opportunity to show me what they can do, and then from there, that's how I decide who plays. I've never hade a whole team that was club players or a whole team that wasn't club players, always a mixture.
- I give everyone a shot. I mean, club players probably have had more practice, but doesn't mean that they will all make my team. As long as you're a hardworker, fairly skilled, and determined to improve...that's all I need!
- I didn't play club (the first year I tried out) and I made the team.
- When I pick teams, I want the best players. I do not look at their resume' to see if I should choose them. I watch them on the court. It is more important to me what they can do between the lines than what they can do on paper.
- club players are good to have on the team because you know that they are experienced and know how to handle situations better. club also shows how hard they're willing to work at a sport they LOVE
